Hand made silver jewelry is abundant in India, which has a rich history of jewelry making. Each piece is unique in so much as every stone is different. They are all open-back, to expose the wearer to the energetic properties - healing, or spiritual - of the stone. These were all sold to us as turquoise, but nowadays much of what passes for turquoise is really dyed howlite (sometimes called 'white turquoise'). We aren't experts, so we can't guarantee they are all real; in fact we're a little suspicious of the first piece. We bought them from a silversmith, and we're sure the silver is real. They aren't "gem quality" stones, so it doesn't effect their value much. They are beautiful, though, and we can guarantee that.
